Shoesist: shoes enthusiast

A celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe seems to know everything about new trends. This summer she supports footwear on a multilayer platform since such shoes and sandals are offered by a great number of famous brands and can be found in their Summer 2011 collections.

The new footwear construction presupposes a wedge divided into separate parts, the parts being differently colored or featuring materials or textures different from the main part, namely the lower part of the shoe.

Such ponderous wedges were spotted in Fendi, Casadei, Pierre Hardy and Prada collections. Of course, other shoe-makers offer similar footwear as well.

Rachel Zoe selects clothes and footwear for numerous Hollywood celebrities. As for her own shoes, she chose Casadei sandals from Spring-Summer 2011 collection. The sandals feature a high wooden platform with a natural texture. The platform is divided into two parts by a contrasting inset made from glittering metal.

Pay attention at how Rachel Zoe manages to accentuate the sandals. She wears them with wide shortened trousers to show off a nice designer platform of her wedges.
