Daphne Guinness Shoes at High Fashion Week in Paris
Daphne Guinness seems to beat Lady Gaga in terms of eccentric style in clothes and footwear. One cannot imagine the image of the well-known fashion journalist without shocking shoes hovering in the air. Now when shoe makers are no more enthusiastic about heelless shoes Daphne Guinness still adores wearing them.
Paris High Fashion Week is another possibility for Daphne Guinness to make a brilliant display of her “flying” shoes. She appeared at Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2011 collection show wearing futuristic silver outfits, which looked even more fantastic coupled with massive satin wedges. Note that there’re no heels again.
The same shoes were spotted of Daphne’s legs at a charity “Love Ball” organized by Natalia Vodyanova. This time Daphne Guinness chose a blue model to match a nice Philip Tracy hat from Armani Privé Fall 2011 collection. A photographer Tommy Ton snapped the celebrity getting out the car with these shoes on.
This is the shoe design Daphne Guinness has been choosing lately. The shoes are created by a London shoe designer Natacha Marro who in collaboration with Oliver Tickens worked out the shoes for Nina Ricci Fall 2009 show.
Daphne Guinness first tried on heelless shoes in 2009 and still prefers wearing them. Her private shoe collection includes a lot of Natacha Marro airy shoes of various shades and materials.
